My Story
I was born in Toronto and moved to Calgary when I was 2 years old. I am an Autistic individual, with a passion for sports. Being Autistic has certainly brought its struggles, but I have persevered and am following my dream of working within the broadcasting industry.
My love and passion for broadcasting goes back to when I was 6 years old and would lie in bed listening to the legendary Peter Maher who was the Flames play by play voice, and Mike Richards who hosted the Morning Show on Sportsnet 960, it was amazing I got to school on time. As a kid I lived for Hockey Night in Canada and nothing was more thrilling than actually attending live games. I had the pleasure of meeting TSN's Bob Mckenzie on a flight back to Calgary from Toronto in 2006, he told me that perhaps one day I would be sitting beside him at the TSN panel, who knows it might still happen. Two years ago, I felt that I was ready to finally pursue my dream, and after almost two years of training, I am prepared to embrace my dream and explore this great industry. It's been a heck of a ride, but the best is yet to come.
